Following discussions , with regard to which plants they would like to incorporate into the new design and how they would like the overall effect to feel. I created this planting plan.
The three tall palms were to remain, and some of the shrubs. I then incorporated further tropical looking evergreen plants to balance the height of the palms within the scheme and also to add a sense of unity by placing these additions throughout the border.
To create further interest, I selected shrubs and perennials that would thrive alongside the larger specimens, whilst injecting some much needed colour into the scheme.
It takes time for perennials to establish their full potential, however these pictures are from their first season and they look truly awesome already!
This couple have their own gardener. I was involved in the creation of the bespoke planting plan, sourcing the plants, arranging delivery and setting them out in their respective positions.
Followed by a visit to see the final beauty of the finished design.
